Welcome to the Congress Elementary School Family! Our District's Vision has two parts: "Students enjoy learning and success" and "Students discover the world and its opportunities." Congratulations to Veronica Juan for winning the Student Council hosted contest to determine the school theme this year. The 2022-2023 school theme is “Puzzling It Through Together.” Helen Keller stated, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." Brainstorming and working together, by using an iterative (repetitive process as a means of obtaining successively closer approximation to the solution of a problem) practice, can create solutions that were never originally imagined. We look forward to another outstanding year of learning filled with new ideas and the process of puzzling through things together.
To support excellent instruction, the school instructional theme is "Embracing Excellence through Whole Child Education". To learn more about whole child education, please visit the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development's Whole Child website at: http://www.wholechildeducation.org. At Congress Elementary School, we are committed to facilitating the development of every child's maximum potential.
We appreciate the time and energy of all those involved with the school. This includes the elected Congress School Board members: Mr. David Zambrano (School Board President), Mrs. Deborah Miller, Mrs. Diane Jones, Ms. Sheri Milner, and Ms. Pat Fisher.
