 Dear Parents/Guardians,

          We are thankful for all our students and your support! The first Trimester ended on October 23 and tremendous success is being seen in the classrooms. We are proud of students and all their hard work. Parent/Teacher Conference are taking place this week.  The Honors Assemblies will be held Tuesday, November 7. K-4 will be starting at 10:30am and 5th-8th grade will start at 2:00pm. Also, on November 7th, Student Council will be facilitating the Cougar Buck Store.

          Volleyball athletes wrapped up their season on October 27 in the league tournament. We are very proud of all our players and thankful for Coach Gross and her volunteers Mrs. Cheyne and Mrs. Ward.

            Congratulations to the Health Council for their efforts on the Halloween Gram fundraiser, the fundraiser ended on Tuesday, October 31st.

         A friendly reminder that Thursday, November 9th there is NO SCHOOL as we observe Veterans Day. Mrs. Jimenez will be serving up her delicious Thanksgiving Meal on November 16. Watch for the sign-up sheet to reserve your meal in the upcoming weeks. The cost of the meal will be $4.00 for non-students.

        A shout out to the Student Council and P.A.C.K. on their Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat event. Fun was had by all!!  Parent Association for Congress Kids (P.A.C.K.) is looking for more parents to join please call the front office for more information on how to help or join! 

         Congress Elementary School earned an A letter grade for the 2022-2023 school year. This A grade reflects student academic achievement; student growth over a three-year range; subpopulation achievement and growth; and bonus points earned for advanced learning completed by students. We are very proud of our students, thankful for all your support, and grateful for staff and their work.
