Dear Parents/Guardians:
Thank you for making the start of the school year a success for your child(ren). Because we are in the business of education, we encourage all parents to support their child(ren)’s learning. This can be done by making sure children are present for school every day and by providing a time and place for every child to read or study at home. We ask that parents be diligent in monitoring your child’s health to help keep the school open for learning. A reminder to contact the teacher and/or school if your child cannot make daily attendance. In addition, a healthy breakfast helps start the day with energy. The school offers breakfast and lunch to students.
We will be hosting a public meeting about the school budget process and what Truth and Taxation means for local taxpayers, before Open House on Tuesday, August 5th at 4:15pm, in the school library. Open House events will start at 5:00pm.
The August through December After School Activities/Clubs sign-up sheet will be going home soon. It is always a delight to see students engaged in the programs after school.
We would like to give a huge thank you to Morgan Stanley for the amazing donation of school supplies. Mrs. Turlington, married to Mr. Turlington our bus driver, applied for a donation for our school. It is wonderful to have such supportive community members that help our students and families.
