Principal's Message

Welcome to the Congress Elementary School Family! Our District's Vision has two parts: "Students enjoy learning and success" and "Students discover the world and its opportunities." Congratulations to Eddy Vazquez for winning the Student Council Hosted contest to determine the school theme this year. The 2021-2022 school theme is “Hard Work Requires Time and Patience.” Leo Tolstoy stated, “The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.”  A foundation of hard work leads to success, while greatness within will develop over time. After last year’s growth in the ability to conquer challenges, we look forward to another outstanding year of learning.

To support excellent instruction, the school instructional theme is "Embracing Excellence through Whole Child Education". To learn more about whole child education, please visit the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development's Whole Child website at: http://www.wholechildeducation.org. At Congress Elementary School, we are committed to facilitating the development of every child's maximum potential.

We appreciate the time and energy of all those involved with the school. This includes the elected Congress School Board members: Mrs. Diane Jones (School Board President), Mr. James Grogan, Mr. David Zambrano, and Ms. Pat Fisher.

Want more information about the school? Please call 928-427-9850 or visit our website, www.congressdistrict.org. Want a tour of the school? Please call and set-up an appointment. We encourage all to come and see what our future is doing right now.

Looking forward to another successful and collaborative year,
Dr. Stephanie Miller
Superintendent, Congress Elementary School District
