Preschool Teacher (PK4) for Title One Preschool, 2016-2017 School Year

Qualities should include: a professional, dedicated, dependable and nurturing Pre-K Teacher.

Responsibilities for PK4 Teacher include but are not limited to:
*Excellent communication skills
*Self-Motivated, able to plan and implement academic and engaging activities
*Create a warm and nurturing environment
*Complete required paperwork/record keeping

Requirements Include:
*Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Be willing to attend and participate in professional development
*Degree or certificate in Early Childhood or Elementary Education  Preferred

Non-Instructional or Paraprofessional Position for Title One Preschool, 2016-2017 School Year
    The non-instructional aide or paraprofessional is responsible for providing assistance to instructional programs by assisting the teacher in achieving the educational objectives.
    This can be done through working with individual students or small groups of students to help them achieve the skill levels of the class as a whole. The non-instructional aide or paraprofessional assists the teacher in providing a well organized, smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.

Work days will be for two days a week in December 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. In January through May the work days will be Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Additional hours will be included for Title One paperwork requirements, professional development, initial set-up of classroom, and other identified needs.

Applications are due to the school by Friday, October 21, 2016. Finalization of employment is expected to be completed by Wednesday, November 9, 2016.  

Pay is negotiable based upon experience and qualifications. District pay schedules will be used to determine hourly pay.
